Israel's men's 3-on-3 basketball team finished the first day of the World Championship in Vienna with a 1:1 record.
Israel opened with a dramatic 18:21 loss to Belgium in the first game, but beat Poland in the second game in no less drama with 19:21 and 4 successful penalty shots by Ben Altit at the end.

The team, which includes Joaquin Schuchman, Guy Palatin, Gur Lavi and Ben Altit, will rest tomorrow, and on Wednesday will face the other two teams at home, Puerto Rico and Lithuania. The goal is to finish among the top 3 places to qualify either for the quarterfinals from first place or to the play-in from places 2-3.
