Full text of the announcement: "A few months ago we met for the first time with the Hapoel Tel Aviv club, and after a short time we understood its uniqueness. We have discovered great fans, loyal, passionate and committed to values, welcoming people of all faiths and cultures. Our team is excited and very honored to be part of the tradition of such a club.

"Tomorrow, June 1, our group of investors will officially take control of the club. In recent months and during the transition period, we have emphasized building a team of people who will lead the effort, combining the existing team that has worked at the club for many years, together with new officials who understand our vision and the values of the club - and bring with them insights, skills and capabilities.

"Another important element that we dealt with during the transition period is the planning and execution of the club's 100th anniversary celebrations. To mark this occasion, we are attending several events over the summer, including the TST 7x7 tournament starting tomorrow in the USA, which will feature the club's legendary defender Douglas da Silva. The club will also play against German rivals St. John's. Pauli, whose fans share a special bond with our fans. Finally, we will celebrate the club's 100 years with a festive ceremony and friendly match against Spanish side Leganes on July 15th at Bloomfield Stadium.

"Alongside the celebrations and the celebration of past achievements, we are facing the future. Chen Sol, head of the football department, works intensively to create a professional identity for the team on and off the field, one that you Hapoel fans can be proud of. We aim to be a team that will play exciting attacking football, and also one where the players give everything on the pitch while the club logo adorns their shirt. Hapoel's players feed off the energy of the crowd and we hope to receive massive support from you throughout the season.

"We are starting a new era of long-lasting success, striving to present beautiful football. We are working to build a team based on solid foundations, through the implementation of scouting and analysis tools, technology, and a deep understanding of the local and global football world. We are also busy investing in modernising the club, so that you can be connected to the club throughout the year. For example, the new club's podcast reached No. 2 in the volume of listens on Spotify in Israel already in its debut week. We will continue to create similar value propositions for you so that you will be as connected and informed as possible.

"It is important for us that you know that one principle guides us in all our actions: building a stable and sustainable organization that will succeed for many years and will remain faithful to the traditions and values that make Hapoel Tel Aviv such a special club. We will do this while keeping the fans at the heart of what the club does. You are the key to all this vision – and we look forward to a successful and shared future.

"In conclusion, we wanted to congratulate the players of the club and the rest of the amazing youth team on qualifying for the quarter-finals of the World Youth Championship in Argentina - and wish them success in the rest of the tournament. We are amazed by your spirit and determination and will continue to encourage you from afar as you continue to make us and an entire country very proud."
