Four years later, she is back. The Rugby World Cup kicks off in a hundred days, with the highly anticipated kick-off of the competition between the France XV and the All Blacks on 8 September. And with it, the fourth season of "Terrain favorable", a web series produced by Société Générale. After Brittany during the first two seasons, director Benoît Pensivy continues the more international turn taken during the third version with this fourth version in six episodes, available in full from Thursday on the YouTube channel of one of the sponsors of the World Cup and on MyTF1.

If it all starts in the Basque Country with Jonny Wilkinson in the role of conductor, the series takes amateur rugby players and former glories like former captain Thierry Dusautoir, former pillar Christian Califano, Wallaby Matt Giteau and All Black Richie McCaw around the world. We go to South Africa, New Zealand, Madagascar in this "Favorable Terrain" where we also meet the South African world champion Siya Kolisi, the legend Dan Carter or Imanol Harinordoquy.

The fourth season revolves around the bonds that are created between opponents on a field. In November, Wilkinson and his troupe attended one of the Basque derbies between the fans of Ciboure and Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle, the training club of two current French internationals: Charles Ollivon and Maxime Lucu.

The viewer follows these sequences, a real advertisement for the beauty of the landscapes of this region of the Southwest, with the voice of Wilkinson as the French-speaking narrator of this trip to different corners of the world where rugby is practiced. Enough to warm up before this autumn and the planetary appointment in France.
