The events of the Israel State Cup final reached the disciplinary court of the Israel Football Association on Wednesday. Beitar Jerusalem was prosecuted following the outbreak on the field of thousands of the team's fans, which prevented the ceremony of hoisting the trophy and the smuggling out of the President of the State.
Both Beitar and Maccabi Netanya were prosecuted for throwing flares onto the field, which caused the game to be stopped several times. The prosecutor of the Football Association, Adv. Nir Reshef, demanded that Beitar be given a penalty of 3 points reduction in practice next season, and a suspended penalty of expulsion from the cup in case of a fan break-in. Regarding Netanya, Reshef demanded a reduction of 2 points on probation and radius in practice.
