"Yesterday, we and the world witnessed another incident, by Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic, who once again violated the principles of sport, violated the fundamental principles of the Olympic Charter and made another political statement in sports," KOK President Ismet Krasniqi wrote in a letter to International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Thomas Bach. The additional post-match statements, made by such a public figure without any sense of remorse, directly raise the level of tension and violence between the two countries, Serbia and Kosovo."
