When will Euro 2024 take place in Germany?
Euro 2024 begins on June 14 with the opening match and runs until July 14, when the final will take place.
When will the match schedule for Euro 2024 in Germany be fixed?
On 2 December 2023, UEFA will conduct the draw for the European Championship finals. 24 teams take part in the European Championship – once groups A to F have been drawn, the schedule is also fixed.
How do I get tickets for Euro 2024 in Germany?
It will start as early as summer 2023: The application phase for European Championship tickets will begin on German Unity Day, October 3, 2023. From this date, the general public will be able to apply for tickets to certain matches. Since there are expected to be more requests than tickets, a lottery pot will decide who will ultimately get tickets.
Tickets are expected to be available exclusively on UEFA's online portal. Of course, you can still buy European Championship tickets after the official award by UEFA. These will probably be traded again on portals such as Ebay at quite high prices.
How much do tickets for Euro 2024 in Germany cost?
By comparison, UEFA sold tickets for a group match at the Pan-European Euro 2020 for between 50 and 185 euros. In the knockout round, prices then rise. When it comes to the semi-finals and finals, the prizes continue to shoot upwards.
Important: Personalised tickets must be transferred to the new purchaser at UEFA! Otherwise you won't be allowed into the European Championship stadium.
Presumably, you can also buy tickets for fixed scheduled and localized matches at Euro 2024 before the final pairing is determined.
