Again bad news for SE Freising: After the relegation to the district league, the cathedral city now have to cope with the departures of two regular players.
Hallbergmoos – Last weekend, SE Freising was relegated from the Landesliga. However, two players will also play in this class next season: Florian Schmuckermeier (28) and Jonas Mayr (27) have been presented as new signings at VfB Hallbergmoos.

VfB Hallbergmoos, who were relegated from the Bayern to the Landesliga, were not the only club to think more or less out loud about the versatile midfielder Schmuckermeier. With 25 games (four goals), the player, who grew up in the Freising youth, was a permanent fixture in the squad. He brings with him central defender Jonas Mayr, who made 33 appearances in the last round. He has also been playing for SE Freising since his youth and is now venturing into a foreign country for the first time. Mayr is also said to have inquired about Bayernliga newcomer Kirchheim.
VfB Hallbergmoos are already quite far along with their squad planning
"They are both players from the region with a lot of experience," says sporting director Anselm Küchle. With the goalkeeper king transfer David Hundertmark, who lives in Freising, they had already signed a first addition. Only the fourth permanent addition, Slavko Radovanovic, does not have a regional touch. The Serbian player came on as a substitute in the last Bayernliga match in Kottern. This means that the Hallbergmoos-based company is already quite far along in personnel planning. There could still be a need on the outside positions and especially in the centre of the attack, where it feels like every club is looking. In VfB's two years in the Bayernliga, they didn't have a striker who was good for 15 goals.
