After half a successful season during which he managed to keep Hapoel Eilat in the league, Mauricio Buscaglia may leave the southern team, with Greek coach Yannis Kastritis a candidate to replace him, Israel Hayom has learned.
The Italian coach arrived in the southern team in January as a replacement for Ariel Beit Halahmi, who left, and succeeded in his mission to keep the team in the league.
Over the past few weeks, the team has been waiting for the decision of the coach, who now seems unlikely to continue looking for offers in his homeland. The leading candidate to replace him if he does not continue is Greek coach Kastritis, who previously coached Hapoel Tel Aviv.
