UEFA Europa League Final: Sevilla vs AS Roma (Sport1)
Barcelona continue to look for ways to land Lionel Messi. One of them, it emerged this week, is linked to a partnership with Inter Miami – in which case, the MLS team owned by David Beckham would sign the flea as a free agent, then loan him out to the Catalans.
"Messi doesn't want a soap opera that lasts all summer," wrote Sport, which revealed the US star's €200 million contract for four seasons, along with a promise to sign his good friend Sergio Busquets.
Needless to say, these sums are much lower than what Messi could earn in Saudi Arabia, but the flea already has a home in Miami and the move will be more convenient for his family. If he agrees, Inter Miami is expected to loan him to Barcelona for 6-18 months.
As is known, Barcelona is due to present a detailed financial plan to La Liga leaders in the coming week, and only after that will it become clear whether it will be able to meet the financial costs of landing its greatest star of all time for a second term.

Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain coach Christophe Galtier has confirmed that Lionel Messi will not renew his contract and will leave the club at the end of the season. Speaking at a press conference ahead of the final match against Clermont, Galtier said: "I had the honour of coaching the greatest game in football history. I hope that in his last home game they will receive him in the best way possible. He's been important to the team this season, I don't think the criticisms and calls against him are justified."
