100 days before the launch of the Rugby World Cup in France, the Arc de Triomphe was illuminated on Wednesday evening. A show, in the colors of France 2023, which lasted a few minutes at nightfall. "We are there, 100 days before a World Cup which, I hope, will be memorable, exceptional, the most beautiful" of all, said Wednesday the president of the organizing committee, Jacques Rivoal, alongside Sir Bill Beaumont, the boss of World Rugby, and the Minister of Sports, Amélie Oudéa-Castéra.

The competition, which will last 51 days, will bring together 660 players from five continents and divided into twenty teams, who will play a total of 48 matches in nine stadiums in France. Note that the Arc de Triomphe is also highlighted on the medals (gold, silver and bronze) that will be awarded to the three best teams in the competition.
