AS Roma lost the Europa League final to Sevilla FC. Before the game, some fans got creative and got into the stadium without a ticket.
Budapest – In a highly dramatic night of football, Sevilla FC won the Europa League for the seventh time in a penalty shoot-out against AS Roma. The Spaniards are thus the record champions of this competition, even though the Italians apparently had more fans in the stadium to support them in the Hungarian capital than originally allowed. On Twitter, the Spanish football show El Chiringuito TV published a video showing fans of the Italian capital club illegally smuggling themselves into the stadium.

AS Roma fans overcome ticket controls in Europa League final
In the video in front of the Ferenc Puskás Stadium, where the Europa League final between Sevilla FC and AS Roma was played, you can see how the Italian supporters smuggle themselves into the arena. While one fan scans his ticket, another spectator also goes through the turnstile.
In the 41-second video, a total of six additional AS Roma fans smuggle themselves into the stadium in this way. Meanwhile, the Italians' fan block was very well filled during the game.
Despite fan superiority, AS Roma loses the Europa League final against Sevilla FC
In addition, on the video of AS Roma supporters smuggling themselves to the Europa League final match against Sevilla FC, a steward can be seen observing the situation. However, the security guard does not intervene and allows the football fans to pass.
In the end, however, the numerical superiority in the stands could not tip the scales in favour of Roma. José Mourinho's side were only able to convert one of three penalties. That wasn't enough in the end, because the Spaniards were again ice cold. After four converted penalties, it was 5-2 for Sevilla. A statement on the incidents from UEFA is still pending.
