Leaving Israel. Maccabi Haifa's French-Congolese defender Dylan Batubinsika officially parted ways with the Greens on Friday after one season, posting a farewell message on social media.
"It's been an amazing year for me. My journey in the green uniform began with one of the biggest games in Israeli football, a victory over Hapoel Be'er Sheva. Since then, it has become a love story with this amazing club. Champions League, championship, dream after dream come true.
"I would like to thank the Maccabi Haifa family from the bottom of my heart for being part of this historic season. I want to thank the club for being open to listening to me and my family situation.
"And for the most important people, Maccabi Haifa fans, I will never forget you. The atmosphere, passion, and love I received. I am so grateful for it, I will never forget those moments. I will always remain a Maccabi Haifa fan, come on Maccabi Green is rising, Dylan."
