A substitute status is never fixed in a team. Even more so when you score goals. Mathis Lambourde can attest to this. The young French striker participates with the Blueberries this Friday evening (20 hours) in the final of the European Championship U17 against Germany in Hungary. Often substitute and decisive during the qualifications for the Euro, he had chained two games on the bench, on the occasion of the first round before (re) finding a place of holder from the quarter-finals. The 17-year-old was then decisive by scoring a goal against England (1-0) before repeating against Spain in the semi-finals (3-1). He has brought his statistics to 9 goals in 15 games with the French U17 since his first cap last September.
