The time has come." Thus begins the video presentation of the Musketeers of Paris, screened Thursday, May 25 at the Jean-Bouin stadium, where the franchise will take up residence from June. Yes, the time has come for the France to welcome its first-ever professional American football team, a private franchise destined to play in the European Football League (EFL). What to rejoice "all those fans who sometimes wake up at 2 a.m. to watch the NFL (National Football League, the American major league, Editor's note)" in the words of the president and co-founder, Frantzy Dorlean.
This former player of the France team, passed by the highest university level in the United States, has teamed up with his former teammate Marc-Angelo Soumah, general manager, second Frenchman in history to play in the NFL. Both men have had a taste of NFL Europe in the past, the forerunner of the EFL which, between June and September, will have its third season.
We want to create a spectacular atmosphere around games, like during the Super Bowl. These will be moments of sharing, festive, family.
