Bayern's farewell is certain: Daley Blind leaves Munich
"Another chapter in our lives is closed. An adventure over five months, with a new home, new school, new routines. It wasn't our best, but we did it," Daley Blind's wife, Candy-rae Fleur, wrote on Instagram. The 34-year-old model moved to the Bavarian capital with her children Löwen and Lamae together with her husband at the beginning of the year. The two have been married since 2019 but met back in 2013.
"Bye bye Bavaria, we will keep the memories forever," Blind's wife concludes her touching farewell speech. To do this, she uses the hashtag "mia san mia". The Blinds seem to have taken this motto with them for the rest of their lives in their short time at FC Bayern.

"Bye bye Bayern": wife of FCB star Blind sends farewell greeting
Daley Blind arrived from Ajax Amsterdam at the beginning of January as a replacement for Lucas Hernandez, who suffered a cruciate ligament injury at the World Cup and is believed to have already signed off from the team. Bayern appreciated the versatility of the Dutchman, who can defend both inside and on the left and is even an alternative as a midfielder.
However, the expectations of both sides were not to be fulfilled to any extent. The 33-year-old hardly got any playing time, the signs of a farewell to Bayern's 157-minute man quickly thickened. Under new coach Thomas Tuchel, Blind, who plays with a defibrillator due to heart disease, was no longer used at all. His last game dates back to 11 March, when he came on as a substitute in the Bundesliga 5-3 home win against Augsburg.

Blind's contract expires on 30.06.2023, and there will probably be no extension at FC Bayern. On the other hand, fellow defender Benjamin Pavard does not want to extend the contract and has probably already told the bosses. (ck)
