Arrival of the fifth: 5 - 13 - 12 - 10 - 2
The Prix du Jockey Club did not gather enough starters, it was the Grand Handicap de Chantilly that served as a support for the Sunday quinty. On the so-called classic distance and on a terrain strengthened by the summer weather, Golden Call (No. 5) was the strongest to the great satisfaction of his partner Tony Piccone: "I was afraid of being caught up in this distance of 2,400 m which is also in good ground. My luck is that at this starting post, the horses go a little fan. So I was able to regularly gain ground by progressing by the shortest of paths. Once the passage was found, he was brave to repel the final assault of Thunderspeed. »
🥇 Golden Call (5) (T. Piccone/H.-A. Pantall) wins the Grand Handicap de Chantilly, #Quinté+, in #Chantilly.

Thunderspeed (No. 13) was maintained after investigation and therefore retains second place, only one head behind the winner. Utamaro (No. 12), quickly well positioned, took third place and overtook Gaidar (No. 10), whose end of the race did not go unnoticed. The host Diamond Vendôme (n°2) completes the arrival of the quintet and precedes Hillarante (n°7).
This event was marked by the fall, after the post, of Mickaël Forest, the jockey La Fille du Sud (No. 6) who promised to be competitive for the places before being strongly hampered near the post.
