The Gymnastics Challenge Cup closed today (Sunday) at the National Sports Hall in Hadar Yosef in Tel Aviv with another silver and bronze medal for the Israeli delegation.
The bronze medalist from the European Championships three years ago, Alex Myakinin, who qualified for the final from second place, retained that place in the last eight, having scored 13.6 points, better than the qualifiers, but Spaniard Nestor Abed overtook him with 13.8 points. On the same device, Ilya Lyubimov finished seventh with 12.6 points.
Pavel Golidov, who qualified for the final of the jumps ranked first, succeeded, with the encouragement of the home crowd, to finish with the bronze medal, with a score of 13.7 points. Perhaps the star of the competition, Christophe Masseros, took the lead with 13.750 points. Eliran Yoskovitz finished fourth with 13.575 points.

Golidov also took part in the final of the parallel exercise, where he finished sixth with 13.5 points, one place behind Uri Seidel with 13.2 points.
Olympic athlete Lihi Raz took part in the ground final, where she finished sixth with 12.767 points and in the beam final she placed eighth, with 10.367 points.
