German Cup Final Recap: RB Leipzig vs Eintracht Frankfurt 0:2 (Sport1)
RB Leipzig parted ways with two key players in Christopher Anconko and Konrad Laimer on Saturday, but it was the sweetest farewell the Bulls had hoped for with a second consecutive German Cup win over Eintracht Frankfurt.
The Reds reached their fourth final in five years with a record of two defeats and a 0-2 victory on penalties over Freiburg last season, and once again they got the job done and completed their second ever win of Germany's second-most important title.

It went hard for the Bulls, but in the 71st minute Dani Olmo found Anakunku, who will leave for Chelsea in the summer, and the Frenchman cut into the middle and kicked a ball that hit Evan Andika and went into the net. Last season's Europa League holders pressed for the equaliser, but instead saw Dominik Soboselai close the story in the 85th minute with a superb goal at the end of a team operation to hand the German Cup for the second time to Leipzig.

RB Leipzig became only the third team in the current millennium to win the German Cup year after year, after Bayern Munich did so three times and Schalke once at the turn of the century.
