Important game, serene performance: FC Moosburg is back in the district league. After the 2-0 win against Taufkirchen, the team popped the corks.
Moosburg – Cool, cooler, FC Moosburg! The district class runner-up defeated BSG Taufkirchen 750-2 (0-0) on Saturday with an extremely calm performance in front of 0 spectators in Langenpreising. As a result, FCM is promoted to the district league and Taufkirchen is relegated to the district league.
The Dreirosenstädter started like the fire brigade and had the first super chance almost from the kick-off: Less than 60 seconds had been completed when Felix Oklmann ran alone towards BSG goalkeeper Julian Korber and failed. The subsequent corner was also ablaze in the Taufkirchen penalty area - the Moosburg should have led early.
Top chance after a few seconds
The opening phase nourished hopes of a spectacle, but after 120 seconds the highlights of the first half had already been told. Above all, both teams tried to stand well at the back, acted with a very manageable risk up front and waited for the opponent's mistakes. The BSG had a header arc lamp on the goal net (18th), which can be described as a chance with a lot of goodwill. "We adapted too much to the opponent's game with the long balls," said FCM coach Mario Sinicki later.

After the half-time break, the Moosburg team concentrated more on their game again. The team was compact at the back, won the majority of the duels and thus also forced scoring opportunities. After an hour, Leonor Ademi ran alone towards the Taufkirchen box, was almost stopped at the penalty area and netted with a shot from 20 meters into the far corner to make it 1-0 (61st). In a game that was quite deadlocked at the time, the goal came out of nowhere.+
The preliminary decision: Vitus Hilz (left) loads Taufkirchen's keeper Julian Körber with a body deception and nets to make it 2-0.
The goal was also the can opener that loosened the shackles of the game. Taufkirchen now had to take more risks - and this resulted in the counterattack in the 73rd minute: Vitus Hilz sprinted alone towards the goalkeeper and closed the scene with a perfect action. With a body trick, he loaded the keeper, passed him on the left and slotted in. That was damn cool done – and in such a significant game. The 2-0 was also the preliminary decision.
Coach Sinicki: "I'm really proud of my team."
In the last ten minutes, the Moosburg kickers had to do some work in their own penalty area. But the bottom line was that Taufkirchen was too harmless to bring about the turnaround. The relegated Kreisliga team could have continued to play for another hour, and no goal would have been scored. The Dreirosenstädter were stable on the defensive and did not seem nervous in the slightest despite the impressive backdrop.
After the final whistle, the big party in blue and black began. With champagne showers, the former district league club celebrated its return to the district league after two seasons in the district class. "I'm really proud of my team," said coach Mario Sinicki. After all, the Moosburgers had played an outstanding season and in the end only narrowly missed out on direct promotion. The coach stressed that his squad deserved victory in the relegation showdown against Taufkirchen. However, it could have been a little easier: "We should have led after just five minutes."
