After just one season in office: Euroleague shareholders decided Monday to oust Marshall Glickman after a vote. The league will discuss the possibility of including Glickman in another consulting role in the organization in two weeks, the official statement said.
It was previously reported that Glickman's relationship with the current president of the Euroleague, Diane Bodiroga, deteriorated over the course of the year, which was likely one of the factors contributing to the decision.
Under Glickman's leadership, the Euroleague reached a historic broadcast agreement with ESPN. The American media giant broadcast the final week of the 2022-23 Euroleague playoffs and the Final Four in Kaunas. The agreement also included broadcast rights for the upcoming Euroleague 2023-24 season.
