After only five months, Ministry of Culture and Sports Director General Kfir Swisa announced yesterday (Sunday) to Culture and Sports Minister Miki Zohar that he is ending his position as director general of the ministry and will run for mayor of Kiryat Gat.

Director General of the Ministry of Culture and Sport Kfir Swisa: "Today I informed the Minister of Culture and Sport of the termination of my position as Director General of the Ministry of Culture and Sport in order to run in the upcoming elections for mayor of Kiryat Gat. I am concluding a short but significant period and am headed for the next challenge.
