Two victories in two days for French cycling. After Christophe Laporte the day before, it is Julian Alaphilippe who raised his arms this Monday in La Chaise-Dieu, Haute-Loire. The Frenchman settled a bumpy sprint while Laporte was again a candidate for victory. Well led by his team, the yellow jersey was overtaken by the Ecuadorian Carapaz who did not resist the return of Alaphilippe. The Frenchman had enough margin to celebrate his victory.
🏆🇫🇷 @alafpolak1 settled the sprint of the 2nd stage of the #Dauphiné and scored a second French victory! 🥳
