After Maccabi Tel Aviv's request, a demand to apply the definition of "state of emergency" to the derby in the playoff finals was put on the agenda at the board meeting of the Israel Basketball Association on Monday.
After a long hour of discussions, the meeting was closed without a decision, and now the Yellows may demand another emergency meeting at the league administration.
Yesterday, the Yellows sent a letter to the chairman of the Basketball Association and the chairman of the league administration, demanding that a "state of emergency" be declared that will not allow visiting guests to enter derby games for the next two years, due to their inability to cope with the security of the event and the possible risk to the lives of spectators.
Activating such a situation will allow the Yellows not to transfer the 1,500 tickets intended for Hapoel Tel Aviv fans.
