Real Valladolid were relegated to the Second Division after a 0-0 draw at home against Getafe. The equalizer did not serve the Pucela for the tie to three of Almeria in the field of Espanyol. The pucelanos did not shoot just on goal except in the final stretch of a clash marked by the little rhythm caused by the blues, with frequent interruptions and losses of time.

Ronaldo's Valladolid has barely endured a season in the First Division. The change of coach when there was just over a third of the season, with the inexperienced Paulo Pezzolano instead of José Rojo Pacheta, did not give energy or football to Pucela. The Burgos coach was sacked when he was one point above the relegation, to which he returned when a run of five consecutive defeats in the last stretch of the campaign placed Ronaldo's Pucela in relegation positions. The Brazilian president has been harshly criticized, with chants of "Ronaldo go now!", because the sports results have not been favorable.
Almeria achieved a hard-fought draw (3-3) in Espanyol's field. The parakeets say goodbye to Primera with a wave of protests against the arbitration collective and its directive. Rubí's team came to be in the Second Division twice during the match but managed to stay after drawing and suffering against an already relegated Espanyol that played the game more in the stands than on the pitch. The match began with the blue and white players standing during the first minute, with their fans dressed in black and with whistles. With this hostile and deafening environment had to face Almeria, which went ahead in the 10th minute with a header from El Bilal. Puado equalized a few minutes later.

The second half was a heart attack for Rubí, who came to be relegated after the goal of Pierre-Gabriel, but Embarba appeared with a Vaseline to take Almeria out of the relegation. However, the nightmare was not over. A goal from Koleosho returned them to Second until a penalty indicated by the VAR and converted by Embarba sealed the permanence of Almeria.

Cádiz confirmed its permanence with a victory in Elche as a result of a goal by Gonzalo Escalante in the 10th minute. The Argentine and the other winter signings gave more quality and strength to Sergio González's team. The Cadiz have asserted the greatest need for points to impose themselves in the Martínez Valero and consolidate in the elite. Escalante's goal in the first half allowed Cádiz to play calmly and contemporize so as not to depend on the results of other fields. The yellow submarine would only have descended in case of carom of results but fulfilled its responsibility to finish the course with 44 points a year after saving itself almost miraculously.
