Dor was already an excellent player at Maccabi Tel Aviv this season, but when I have Eran Zahavi and Jorja Jovanovic in the squad and when they play almost all the games, Dor had no place and therefore he didn't play. My opinion of him is very positive."
How positive?
"I think potentially a generation could be better than Eran Zehavi."

"It's a statement, but it's accompanied by another statement that a generation can be bigger than Eran Zehavi if it has Eran's attitude. This is the most important thing I hope Dor took from staying with Eran. The approach to the game, the approach to life, the approach to training. If Dor has Eran's approach to football and invests as much as he does, he will be able to surpass it. He's a great player."

Do you remember your conversations?
"Obviously I've spoken to him – as I do with every player of mine, but I don't remember anything special or specific that I told him, other than encouraging him to continue training well and wait for the moments he gets."
Couldn't he be used as an extremist on the line? After all, he has speed and technique.
"True, he has good speed and high technique with the ball, but still in my opinion his place on the field is the central striker position, where he currently plays for the Israeli national team."
Another player you knew well and trained with is Roy Revivo. He's having a great tournament too.
"Roy trained with me for six months. A real working man and I love those. He had to go out and play on loan and I'm glad he did it after I left. The minutes at Hapoel Jerusalem certainly promoted him. I think if Revivo has a defensive part like an offensive part, he'll be an excellent left-back. He has great offensive ability. He's constantly thinking ahead and supporting the attack and not many left-backs have that. Obviously he needs to improve the front all the time, but he has very good lifts and handles the ball correctly. I'm sure he'll improve his defensive side as well. Both Revivo and Turgeman are players that Maccabi Tel Aviv can enjoy very much."
