Virkus: Seoane fits in with Gladbach's approach to football
In the Gladbach club statement, sporting director Roland Virkus is quoted as saying about the signing of Gerardo Seoane: "Gerardo Seoane has worked successfully in various positions in recent years. He is a young but experienced coach who fits in with our approach to football and we are delighted to have him at Borussia Mönchengladbach with immediate effect."
Born in Lucerne, Seoane most recently worked at Bayer Leverkusen, where he was replaced by Xabi Alonso at the beginning of October. In Gladbach, he is now to accompany the upcoming upheaval and lead the fortunes of the Bayer Cross until at least 2026.
