French Ballon d'Or winner Karim Benzema, leaving Real Madrid, has signed a three-year contract with Jeddah-based Saudi club Al-Ittihad, AFP learned Tuesday from an internal club source.
«
Benzema has signed a contract for his transfer to Al-Ittihad, for a period of three years," the source said of the 35-year-old striker. The Frenchman played his last game for Real on Sunday after 14 seasons with the Madrid club. The Merengue had formalized his departure a few hours before the meeting.
