This is called an emotional elevator. FC Grenoble, resident of Pro D2, was seeking a place in the Top 14 again this weekend but was defeated by Perpignan (19-33). The penalty does not stop there. The control bodies also deduct four points from the FCG for next season, in addition to the two points suspended since December 1, 2022. That's a total of six points removed for the 2023-2024 season.
Grenoble now has 7 days to appeal the decisions.
