There are a number of changes coming to the FC Bayern squad. The type of transfers could also differ a little for a desired player of coach Tuchel.
Munich – The FC Bayern Munich squad is set for a major upheaval this summer. It is the first transfer summer with coach Thomas Tuchel, who is putting together the team as part of a seven-member council at Munich. Apparently, Tuchel has now chosen Raphinha from FC Barcelona as another desired player. In order to sign him, Bayern could resort to a player swap for the first time.

Tuchel "very, very big fan" of Barca's Raphinha: First player swap at Bayern?
The Brazilian winger has probably taken a hard time with the Bayern coach. This is reported by Sky reporter Florian Plettenberg. According to Sky information, Tuchel is "a very, very big fan" of the 26-year-old's dribbling skills.
The Munich team could therefore resort to a spectacular and previously unused method to lure Raphinha to Bayern: There is a player swap with Benjamin Pavard, who is willing to change and wants to leave FC Bayern in the upcoming transfer window. Barca are apparently interested in the French defender. Otherwise, Raphinha would be very expensive, he has a market value of 50 million euros (source: transfermarkt.de) and still has a contract in Barcelona until 2027.

Bayern coach Tuchel wanted to sign Barcelona Raphinha last year
According to Plettenberg, Tuchel was already interested in signing the Brazilian last summer. At that time, the current Bayern coach was still on the sidelines of Chelsea FC, Raphinha was still playing for Leeds United. But shortly thereafter, the 26-year-old moved to Barcelona for around 58 million euros.
Since then, he has made 50 competitive appearances for the Catalans. He scored ten goals and provided twelve assists. In particular, he harmonized excellently with ex-Bayern goal machine Robert Lewandowski in the past season. The congenial duo was an essential guarantor that Barca was able to secure the Spanish championship.
Barca star Raphinha has so far "not yet been a declared transfer target" for Bayern
The Brazilian is currently "not yet a declared transfer target for Bayern," said Plettenberg. However, that could change in the course of the next few weeks – especially if Tuchel is allowed to have even more of a say in Bayern's transfers than before. In addition, a 170 million sales package, which includes three wingers of the record champions, could now make room for a transfer of the Barca star.
While Raphinha may move to the Bavarian capital, another Bayern star is about to leave after just one year: Noussair Mazraoui could leave Munich in the near future. (wuc)
