Declan Rice is on Bayern Munich's wish list, but a transfer is proving difficult. Has he already turned down FCB?
Munich/London – Declan Rice is one of the hottest stocks in the upcoming transfer window. FC Bayern Munich's interest in West Ham United's midfielder has been known for some time, and the England international is said to be one of coach Thomas Tuchel's dream players.

FC Bayern: Rice and Tuchel have already spoken to each other
Even before the last Bundesliga matchday, there was a meeting between Rice and the FCB coach. Hasan Salihamidzic, who has since been dismissed, and technical director Marco Neppe were also present in London. There, those responsible for the German record champion Rice have made a move to the Isar palatable.
In addition to FC Bayern, however, another club is vying for the services of the 24-year-old. English runners-up Arsenal are also said to have their eye on the midfielder – and according to media reports, they even have better chances of a transfer.

Will Arsenal outperform FC Bayern in the transfer poker game for Rice?
As the English Daily Mail wrote a few days ago, Rice is said to prefer a move within the Premier League. The club around coach Mikel Arteta – who is also said to be a big supporter of Rice – is probably preparing a first offer. The amount is said to have it all, around 105 million euros, the Londoners allegedly want to put on the table.
According to the article, Rice is preparing to cancel FC Bayern in the near future. As the Bild reports, however, there is still hope on Säbener Straße and does not yet know anything about a cancellation.
FC Bayern: Are there family reasons for Rice's move within England?
The newspaper also quotes "West Ham insider" Andy Dillon of the Sun, who also expects to stay on the island. "The Premier League is the biggest challenge and this is where his heart is. I say: Sorry, Bayern – but too many big clubs over here want him for Bayern to have a chance," Dillon said.

And there is another argument against a commitment to the Bundesliga. "He's also just become a father, so I'm sure that's influencing it again...", Dillon suspects.
