Dozens of Israelis plan to come to La Plata in order to push the youth team ahead of its game on Thursday against Uruguay in the World Cup semifinals. The same fans expressed their desire to come as part of a WhatsApp group opened to Israelis traveling in South America who are interested in supporting the national team, while there are also those who came especially to South America to encourage Ofir Haim and his players. From La Plata, which is about an hour's drive from Buenos Aires, there will be organized transportation to the game.
Israel is aware that large crowds may come from Uruguay due to the geographical proximity between the countries, and therefore there is mobilization on the part of Israeli travelers, plus members of the Jewish community in the area who came to support the team in its first two games held in La Plata.

"I was supposed to continue my post-army trip from Colombia to Guatemala, but after the victory over Brazil I immediately decided to change plans," he told Walla Sport! Roi Reznik from Metula, who landed in Buenos Aires in the early morning, said: "I've already been to Argentina on a trip, so I'm coming back just for the game. There are a lot of Israelis who plan to come, not only for the game but also for training in order to harass the players."
On the professional side, the team will hold its final training session tonight Israel time, with the defensive squad expected to continue as it has throughout the tournament. This means that the dilemmas remained the same, both in position number 8 and in wing positions. "We have already proven that there are more than 11 players here who are worth a lineup," said a team source, "The biggest thing is that there is no ego and everyone who comes off the bench goes crazy."
