The French e-sports team Vitality announced Wednesday, June 7, the death of its Valorant player Karel Asenbrener, aka "Twisten", at only 19 years old.

It is with infinite sadness and heavy hearts that we learned of the passing of our player Valorant Karel "Twisten" Asenbrener last night," the club said on its social media.
Vitality, the leading esports team in France, did not specify the cause of death of the Czech player but shared a message about the importance of mental health. The player had recently revealed that he was suffering from depression.
