Coach Ofir Haim said: "The victory over Brazil was great, it's clear to everyone, but we came from the beginning of the game with the belief to go far. It won't be easy, they are favourites, but they always come with confidence and it will be the same in this game. Uruguay is a football powerhouse, producing countless players every year. It will be a very difficult game, but we will not give up. We will do everything to be in the final."

Haim later promised: "We will not arrive in euphoria, we will arrive prepared. I know that we have the backing of an entire country, we will do everything to allow everyone a few more moments of happiness possible. We know what their strengths are, also what their disadvantages are. We'll have to make the adjustments to qualify for the final."
