Even though more than two weeks have passed, Sergio Yui's winning basket in the Euroleague Final Four still resonates. Real Madrid won the title again, and the league now goes into rest mode until October, when the action in the continent's best league will return.
Despite having to wait several months for the ball to come back into the air, there are only a few weeks left before the transfer market kicks in. We've rounded up the most interesting free agents on the continent and those who might find themselves on a new team this summer.
Vasilia Micic, point guard, 29 (Anadolu Efes)
It's exciting to see the best player in the Euroleague on this list, but not to raise hopes about him. Micic is signed by Anadolu until the summer, with the option of extending his contract for another season, but after the Turkish team's disappointing season, the chances seem very small. Perhaps at age 29, this summer may be the star's last in Europe, and he is expected to make the leap to the NBA.

Kevin Panter, guard, 30 (Partizan Belgrade)
After leading Partizan to the Eurocup, Panter returned to the Euroleague this season and proved that he is still one of the best players on the continent. Reports said that Maccabi Tel Aviv had made him an offer, but this is a player who will demand large sums that the Yellows cannot afford. A team like Barcelona and Panathinaikos in the race, as well as Partizan who dreams of keeping him.

Kostas Slokas, point guard, 33 (Olympiacos)
One of the most sought-after players on this list. Slokas doesn't need introductions. At the age of 33, the Greek delivered one of his best seasons, deciding several Euroleague games. His return to Olympiacos in 2020 was supposed to mark the final years of his career, but the disappointment of missing out on the title again, and any offer that might tempt him, could make the market tremble.

Kenan Evans, point guard, 26 (Zalgiris Kaunas)
Another one of many, who left Maccabi Tel Aviv and flourished big elsewhere. Until his injury, Evans averaged 15.9 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game for Zalgiris Kaunas. The Lithuanian team has the option of extending his contract by another year, which seems likely to happen as the player recovers. If he continues in Kaunas, and if he restores the level he displayed again, his stay in the Lithuanian state will be short-lived.

Matthias Lessor, Center, 27 (Partisan)
The big surprise of the season in the Euroleague. He was named to the team of the season with great ability, and certainly made Maccabi Tel Aviv regret letting him slip out of their hands. Not a modern center, without a shot from the outside, but with a lot of strength and aggressiveness and knows how to finish great under the basket. It will have a lot of demand in the market.

Kyle Coric, guard, 33 (Barcelona)
The scorer arrived at Barcelona in 2018, after excelling at Zenit, and with experience in the Spanish league (Estudiantes and Gran Canaria). At Barca, Coric played the best basketball of his career, becoming one of the best scorers on the continent. The American sharpshooter left doubts in the final stage of last season, when he was relatively disappointing. His future at the club is uncertain, and rumors are that he could cross the street and join Real Madrid.

Nigel Williams-Goss, point guard, 28 (Real Madrid)
Nigel Williams-Goss' season was hard to predict, his continuity at Real Madrid depended on Facundo Campazzo's return to the club. The reality is that today, he is a much more significant player than in the past, having excelled in the last Euroleague games with the Blancos. Euroleague teams are expected to keep an eye on the player who already has considerable experience in the factory.

Chavonne Shields, guard, 30 (Milan)
The former Basconia player has established himself over the past two seasons as one of the best players in the Euroleague, but injuries have been making it very difficult for him lately, and any team that takes him knows they are taking a risk. One of the oldest players in the league. The former Basconia guard finished his fifth year in Istanbul and it will be interesting to see where his career continues. He is expected to look for a short-term contract to end his career, and it seems that whoever takes him will add a player who can contribute not only on the court. He may continue at Anadolu Efes.
