The Israeli Basketball Association Tribunal will convene this morning (Wednesday) at 10:00 AM to hear the case of Maccabi Tel Aviv, which did not transfer tickets to Hapoel Tel Aviv for the first game of the derby in the final basket.
The union prosecutor decided yesterday to prosecute Maccabi after the yellows did not hand over the tickets to the reds. The prosecutor prosecuted Maccabi for misconduct and demanded a fine, and if they decide not to transfer the tickets even afterwards, he recommends prosecuting them for violations of the union's bylaws, and a technical loss may be ruled against them.

After the indictment was published, Maccabi Tel Aviv initially considered announcing the transfer of tickets, but after much consultation, the club decided to continue along the same line, raising a flag and calling on a certain body, referring to the police, to take responsibility for the incident. Maccabi responded to the indictment in a letter sent to the court in the evening, in which they continue on the same line, and as of the hours before the hearing, there had been no change in their position.
Hapoel Tel Aviv are waiting for the court's decision, but the club is very angry with the conduct of the league administration and Maccabi Tel Aviv, since at best the tickets will be transferred only in the afternoon today, which will make it very difficult for them to prepare for the game. Hapoel are considering their conduct with the club very concerned that the whole saga and the non-transfer of tickets has set the field on fire.
The league administration hopes that the saga will be resolved after the tribunal. The Secretariat was still trying yesterday to bring about a solution, while presenting an outline in which they would take responsibility for the incident, as recommended by the union prosecutor, but arrange the meeting in the hall according to their decision. Maccabi Tel Aviv rejected the offers.
