Thank you for forgetting about the horrific events of the Cup Finals, thank you for bringing us a real sporting event that is all about love and respect for sports. Thank you that contrary to the shame that accompanies us every week in front of the family when we see the rising violence on the courts, this time we were able to watch everyone together in the living room and cheer in the evenings and nights together, all of us.

Thank you for thinking until now that the Israeli footballer is walking around in a diaper when the decisive minutes arrive, and you proved that this is just a myth. Thank you for beating Brazil, Brazil! National football team! Thank you for showing us that Israeli society is not the one they try to paint for us in the Israeli Knesset, but rather in the courts in Argentina.

Thank you for showing us that Jews and Arabs playing football together is the most beautiful thing that can be. Thank you very much for bringing us optimism in the darkest hours of Israeli society. Thank you for reminding us how much we love this game, and how exciting it is for us.

Thank you that for one moment we didn't care about anything but football, something so rare in the Israeli reality. Thank you for helping us think about now and not tomorrow, and who cares what you will be as an adult, the main thing is that now you are having fun.

Thanks in advance for going to give the blood to win third place on Sunday night. Thank you for turning us from disgruntled people who despise Israeli football most of the time, to people who believe that in life anything is possible and for restoring our faith in Israeli football.
