On Thursday evening, the Greens announced their farewell to Nikita Rukavicia, after six seasons in total, two championships, two titles as top scorers, 65 league goals and sixth place in the Greens' all-time top scorer table in the league. "Maccabi Haifa Football Club thanks Nikki for great days in green and white and wishes him much success in the future," the club said.

Professional manager Gal Alberman said: "We thank Nikki for six seasons at Maccabi Haifa and for his part in the team's achievements. Nicky is etched in the club's history books as one of the greatest goalscorers of all time. We love you very much Nikki and wish you the best of luck in the future."
