No more leisure league: The young women's team of SVA Palzing has big goals

2023-06-08T05:22:14.311Z

Highlights: SVA Palzing's women's team plays in the leisure league of the Zugspitze Group. It is only possible in this class to play on a large field with players born after 2006. The young squad currently occupies third place in the table behind Eching II. The primary goal of the young Ampertal women is to develop further, to establish themselves in the women's field and to fight for the championship in the domestic league in the near future. They would also be happy to have new teammates because the squad is currently rather thinly staffed.

The team includes Georgi Stahmann, Tabea Silberbach, Antonia Huber, Hannah Köllmeier, Veronika Binder, Tabea Glöde, Emely Duhanaj, Anna Leppmeier, Isabella Ball, Julia Vogl, Ida Zeller, Vanessa Bartodiziej, Nicole Wichter, Tanja Köllmeier, Viktorija Bauer, Amelie Scheuerl and Stefanie Obermeier. © SVA

The women's team of SVA Palzing officially "only" plays in a recreational league, but is still fully ambitious in the matter.

Palzing – The young footballers of SVA Palzing have been competing in the Zugspitze Group's leisure league since autumn 2022. Due to a requirement of the Bavarian Football Association (BFV), it is only possible in this class to play on a large field with players born after 2006. The term leisure league could give the impression that the teams only compete against each other on a whim. In fact, eight teams are playing with great ambition in this group. The ladies of TSV Eching II, against whom the Ampertal women will play their next match at home on Saturday (14 p.m.), will also be there.

SVA Palzing: Most of the opponents are much older

The young women of SVA Palzing, who competed as U17s on a smaller large field last season, have been allowed to prove themselves in the women's section and on the large field for the first time since autumn 2022. After initial adjustment difficulties, they have developed very well and currently occupy third place in the table behind Eching II. This is especially noteworthy because they play against teams that are much older and therefore have more experience. Recently, however, the Palzinger women had to accept a setback: Against the leader SG Hofstetten it set a 0:5.

The young squad of SVA Palzing still has three games to play this season. The aim will be to defend third place in the standings. There, the team, coached by Rainer Gebele and Werner Vogl, currently has 16 points to its name. However, the fourth has only two points less and the seventh only five.

However, the primary goal of the young Ampertal women is to develop further, to establish themselves in the women's field and to fight for the championship in the domestic league in the near future. The ambitious footballers, almost all of whom were born in 2005 or younger, would also be happy to have new teammates. Because the squad is currently rather thinly staffed. Ft
