Serena Williams and her immense record of 23 Grand Slam titles (the last in 2017) gone, women's tennis is looking for its new great champions. Australia's Ashleigh Barty (3 Grand Slams), Romania's Simona Halep (2 GC) or Japan's Naomi Osaka (4 GC) seemed to have the profile but the first is retired, the second in the infirmary and the third on maternity break. In constant search of idols and rivalries, the public could have found happiness thanks to Iga Swiatek, Aryna Sabalenka and Elena Rybakina. Aged 22, 25 and 23, they have won the last four "majors" and occupy three of the top four places in the world rankings.
