It's almost summer and the end of the season is fast approaching. In some places, however, sport continues to occupy your weekends. Le Parisien offers a selection of issues and details the events not to be missed in Île-de-France. Overview.
The posters of the weekend: Paris 92 and three other clubs in the Paris region aim for the Cup
HANDBALL. The championships now over, now place to the Coupe de France and its finals, all day this Saturday at the Accor Arena. This year, four clubs from the region made it to the final step. The day begins with the girls of Paris XO, a brand new club in the 18th arrondissement (Départementale, 10 am). Just after, the Entente Cellois-Louveciennes comes into play for the boys (Departmental, 12 hours), then the Kremlin-Bicêtre again for the women (Regional, 14 hours).
At 18-15, it is a huge challenge that awaits the players of Paris 92. Seventh in the Butagaz League after having considered the podium for a long time, the Lionesses will indeed have a huge mountain to climb to overcome Metz, the best team in France who has just won its 25th national title. Holders of the trophy, the Lorraines are arch-favorites but the Ile-de-France have everything to gain...

To share with personalities: the Adidas 10K Paris
RUNNING. First 10 km of France with 25,000 participants expected, the Adidas 10K Paris returns this Sunday morning in the streets of the capital. Sold out since mid-April, this event is enriched by a peloton that is evolving, with neo-runners, women and young people always more numerous since 2019: 73% of runners start for their first edition.
The route passes once again in the heart of Paris with the most beautiful monuments. The start is given from the Eiffel Tower, the runners will then pass by the Palais de Tokyo, the Grand Palais, the Opera Garnier, the Louvre Pyramid, the Musée d'Orsay, and an arrival in front of the Iron Lady.

Frenchman Hassan Chahdi will be present to put his title on the line. At his side, Florian Carvalho, Benjamin Choquert, Mehdi Frère and Yann Schrub will be his main competitors. On the women's side, we can count on the presence of Mélanie Allier, recent France champion of the 10,000 m but that of Manon Trapp. Alongside the runners, adidas ambassadors will be there with handball side Thierry Omeyer and Béatrice Edwige, but also former sprinter Stéphane Diagana and former rugby players Dimitri Szarzewski and Yannick Nyanga.
The place to be to have fun: Ivry s/Seine
SOAP CRATES. This Saturday, in the streets of Ivry-sur-Seine, 9 2nd year students of the preparatory cycle of ESIEA (a Parisian engineering school) organize a race of soap boxes made of recycled materials. The objective of this race? Achieve the best time while avoiding obstacles. But above all, to raise awareness of sustainable development, since the boxes will be made with a maximum of recycled materials. An important challenge for future engineers, who have decided, as part of Human Training Projects, to mobilize in favor of UN Sustainable Development Goal n°12: "establish sustainable consumption and production patterns."
From 12:30 pm, the first teams will start in the streets Jean Trémoulet and Jean Bonnefoix. The students have made two cars themselves and organize a contest to win one of them. Very fashionable in the descents of the region, as recently in front of several hundred people in Chartrettes (Seine-et-Marne), the soap box races, small artisanal cars, will also be present in Triel s / Seine, Sunday.
