10:00 - Boxing is on its way out of the Olympics

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has announced that the Board has decided to permanently revoke Olympic recognition of the International Boxing Federation, with the final vote at the IOC's special meeting on the 22nd where the decision will be approved.

If the decision is approved, boxing will be pulled out of the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic program, but is still expected to take place at the upcoming Olympics in Paris next year.

The traditional Olympic torch-lighting ceremony at Olympia, Greece, will take place on April 16, and will make it all the way to the opening ceremony on July 26 in Paris. 7:00 - Record participants in Petah Tikva's night race

About 7,000 runners took part in the Petah Tikva Night Race held yesterday (Thursday). The night race, now in its fourth year, consisted of four heats that passed through the city's main streets: two competitive running heats - 10 km and 5 km, a family race 2.5 km and a 600 m accessible track for communities, boys and girls.
