The Roland Garros tournament is nearing its decisive moments, with Novak Djokovic securing his place in the French final for the sixth time on Friday after defeating Carlos Alcaraz 3-6, 7-5, 1-6, 1-6. The Serbian awaits the winner between Casper Ruud and Alexander Zverev.
The match opened evenly and each of the top tennis players won one set. Djokovic took the first (3-6) and Alcaraz the second (5-7). But then everything changed because of an injury to the Spaniard.
Alkers, after a wrong movement, grabbed his leg and signaled that he had been hit. The game was stopped to check on the young Spaniard, and he insisted on continuing to play until the end, despite the restriction in movement.

In the next two sets, injury played a major role, and Alcaraz was clearly hopeless. The Serbian chose not to feel sorry for his opponent, shifting gears and crushing Alcaraz with 1-6, 1-6, en route to 1-3 in sets and a place in the final.
