FC Bayern Munich have signed Konrad Laimer. However, a photo of the signing of the contract raises questions.
Munich – FC Bayern Munich has confirmed what was considered certain for a long time. Konrad Laimer joins Säbener Straße on a free transfer and signs a contract until 2027. With the Austrian international, FC Bayern are increasing their competition in central midfield.

FC Bayern Munich sign Laimer
"It's a dream come true for me. FC Bayern is one of the biggest clubs in the world. I will give everything for the club and the fans. FC Bayern always have the highest goals – just like me: I'm in the right place here. I'm only 100 percent, and I'll bring that to every training session from day one. I can't wait," said the newcomer after announcing his move to FC Bayern.
FC Bayern published a photo of Laimer's signing of the contract, but it raised questions. In the background of the player, who signed the working paper in a black sweater, the championship trophy and Champions League trophy can be seen outside a window. If you take a closer look, you will notice that the tree outside the building is completely bare – very atypical for June.

It can be assumed that Laimer's signature was already made in winter. On January 24 this year, Kicker sports magazine reported that the Leipzig professional is said to have signed a contract with FC Bayern Munich. The fact that the decision was made in the winter and that the working paper was signed must also have been noticed by RB Leipzig.
FC Bayern Munich: Photo of contract signing raises questions
Max Eberl, managing director of sport for the Saxons, was completely ignorant of the Sport12 double pass on 1 March: "If he had decided, and he wanted to say so, then he could do it, but that didn't happen." At this point, however, the move to Säbener Straße had apparently long been fixed.

On Twitter, the photo caused astonishment. "So he signed back in the winter. Or are the trees in Munich sick," wrote one user, for example, while another made for a smile: "Also wild: Sign with Brazzo/Kahn in January in the hope that Nagelsmann will accommodate him and now he comes here and doesn't know a pig anymore." The reason why the permanent transfer was kept secret for several months by Laimer and FC Bayern is not known. (smr)
