It is an extremely rare moment attended by the spectators of the Philippe Chatrier court. Engaged in a semi-final of prestige against Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz injured his right leg on a support. So the Spaniard took a medical timeout to treat what looked like a cramp. However, while the players were at 1-0 in favor of "Carlitos" in the third set, it was forbidden for the Spaniard to call the physio under penalty of losing a game on the green carpet, which was therefore the case.

Well placed to engage a forehand, Carlos Alcaraz stopped sharp, limping on his left leg. Immediately, Novak Djokovic came to his side to take news of the world number 1. The Spaniard then stretched his right calf before calling on his physio. The latter manipulated him for a few minutes before the crowd roared, seeing the scoreboard show 3-1 in favor of the Serb.
Carlos Alcaraz finally got back to the back of the court but was unable to move properly from that fateful moment. Novak Djokovic took advantage of it to pocket the third set and lead 6-3, 5-7, 6-1.
