The pinnacle moment of world football has arrived. Manchester City and Inter meet tonight (Saturday) in the Champions League final at the Attruk Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey.
Manchester City come into the game as big favourites by all accounts after passing Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig along the way. Despite never winning a trophy, Pep Guardiola's side are reaching the final for the second time in three seasons, looking for a first title to complete a historic treble after winning the English title and cup.
If there is any defence that can stop City's attack, it is Inter's. They have kept five clean sheets in their last six Champions League matches. Coach Simona Inzaghi knows it will be difficult, but he is optimistic and insists: "The beauty of football is that the favourites don't always win. We're going to have to make sure key moments are going our way." The Italians have won the title three times, the last time being in 2009/10 when they beat Bayern Munich.
