The director Claude Lelouch was present this Saturday, June 10 on the circuit of the 24 Hours of Le Mans to shoot several scenes of his next film, Finally. Actors Kad Merad and Raphaël Mezrahi accompanied him in the preparation of this 51st feature film.
Paul Belmondo and Elsa Zylberstein will also star in Finalement, some sequences of which have been shot in recent days in Paris, Béziers, Beaune in Burgundy and Bénouville in Calvados. This production Les Films 13 should be screened in cinemas in 2024. Few details have filtered, except the role played by Kad Merad: "a great lawyer like Robert Badinter or Eric Dupont-Moretti" confided the director to the British media Variety.
This is not the first time that Claude Lelouch, 85, ventures on the asphalt of the Sarthe circuit. Many scenes from A Man and a Woman (1964, Palme d'Or at Cannes in 1966) had been shot there.
