While Konrad Laimer from RB Leipzig is the first Bayern reinforcement for the upcoming season, something could now also happen on the departure side. Attacker Serge Gnabry is now fuelling the rumours of a possible departure from Munich himself.

The two friends Alaba and Gnabry celebrated great successes together at FC Bayern
David Alaba and Serge Gnabry are very good friends and know each other very well from their time together at FC Bayern. From 2018 to 2021, the two played together in Munich. The duo won several titles together, including the Champions League in 2020.
Both were instrumental in the triumph in the Champions League at the time, Gnabry as scorer and assister, Alaba as head of defence. In the meantime, the former Bayern star organises Real Madrid's backline. The 30-year-old Alaba moved there two years ago. Last year, he had already tried in vain to lure the German from Bayern to the Spanish capital. Now, however, this project of the Austrian could be crowned with success.

On Instagram, Gnabry posted a picture of Alaba. It shows the Austrian relaxing on a garden terrace in casual clothes. While numerous Bayern stars relax with their families in holiday paradises after the long season, the Munich attacker spends time with his Austrian Spezl. Recently, Gnabry had been seen at the Formula 1 race in Barcelona and had been confused by a reporter's question.
The exact background of the photo with Alaba is unclear. It is possible that Gnabry is getting information about his potential new employer Real Madrid from ex-Bayer Alaba. This is supported by the fact that the 27-year-old provided the post with two hearts. Will the two friends soon be reunited on the pitch?

This is not out of the question. The future of the Germany international is open. Recently, rumours arose that Gnabry was part of a 170 million sales package at the record champions. Despite a contract until 2026, the 27-year-old can probably leave Bayern, for whom he has collected 2018 scorer points in 218 competitive games since 132, if a suitable offer is made in the summer.
