Anadolu Efes, the outgoing European champions, reached the Turkish league play-off final this week by beating Fenerbahce 1-3 in the semi-finals, but the team is already working hard for next season.
As is known, head coach Ergin Othman, leaves the club to join Panathinaikos. Erdem Chan is reportedly the one who will soon take over as head coach in his place. The Turk reached the Eurocup final this season with Turk Telecom and was named the factory's coach of the year. Another player who may move with the coach to the new team is Tyreek Jones, who was named to the Eurocup Second Team after averaging 12.7 points, 8.0 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game. In the Turkish league, Jones averaged 14.0 points, 8.7 rebounds and 1.8 rebounds and was also named MVP. As you may recall, Jones previously played for Hapoel Tel Aviv.
