The victory and the title for Iga Swiatek. Already crowned in 2020 and last year on the courts of the Porte d'Auteuil, the Polish world number 1 finally got the better of the Czech Karolina Muchova (6-2 5-7 6-4) this Saturday, at the end of a final (very) hooked. The world number 43, in the final of a major for the first time, will however have sold her skin dearly. With her back to the wall at 6-2 3-1 for Swiatek, Muchova reignited the suspense, took the second set and even led 4-3 in the third set, to no avail. Swiatek, 22, won his fourth Grand Slam, the third in Paris.
