Munich/London – FC Bayern are in the middle of planning their squad for the coming season. After a disappointing season in which the German record champions had to give up early in the DFB-Pokal and Champions League, there are likely to be several changes to the squad. FC Bayern are trying to sign Rice
In addition to a centre-forward, a defensive midfielder is also to be signed. For some time now, FC Bayern Munich has been trying to sign Declan Rice from West Ham United. The England international is captain, leader and top performer of the "Hammers" and is considered the desired player of head coach Thomas Tuchel.
The fact that Rice will stay with the winner of the Conference League beyond the summer is considered impossible. "I think that should have been his last game. There is no movement in the negotiations between the German record champions and West Ham United, as reported by the pay-TV channel Sky. According to information from the English newspaper The Telegraph, English runners-up Arsenal FC are favourites to sign Declan Rice.
FC Bayern: Transfer of Rice increasingly unlikely
Arsenal are said to be offering a transfer fee of the equivalent of €107 million for Rice, who is under contract with West Ham United until the end of June 2024. Negotiations with the Premier League club are said to be at an advanced stage and an agreement is not far away. On the other hand, there were apparently no new talks between FC Bayern and Rice.
